Amongst the difficulties and sorrow of the past pandemic year there have been some incredible moments of hope and joy instigated by communities that have helped to make an impossible situation a little bit more bearable.

 

The Spring and Gobbledegook Theatre want to recognise and celebrate these moments and the people who made them possible.

Over the next few months some very special signs will be appearing all over Havant. These will be temporary placards designed to thank, recognise and celebrate our own lockdown heroes and their actions.

You can contribute your own stories to the project by using the hashtag #SignsofSolidarity on social media and by connecting to Gobbledegook on Facebook, Instagram or Twitter.

The project will culminate in a Signs of Solidarity exhibition in 2021, bringing together stories and celebrating local people who made an impossible situation a bit more bearable.
